Check the Belgium Region Before Buying

Under Google's Belgian gift card terms, the recipient must be at least 13 years old, reside in Belgium, have internet access and qualify for and hold or create a Google Payments account for Belgium. The code may not redeem correctly if the user is outside Belgium or if their Play country or payment profile does not match.

This is especially important for international gifts. Paying with crypto through ACEB does not remove Google's regional restrictions or make a Belgian code compatible with an account from another country.

EUR Balance Does Not Mean Any Euro Country

The Belgium version is tied to the Belgian Google Play store and its EUR balance rules. A euro-denominated Belgium code should not be treated as automatically compatible with France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria or any other country that also uses euros.

Google Play balance can generally be used only for content sold in the same country and currency conditions as the balance. A recipient should confirm that they are using the right Google account before redeeming, because redeemed balance is attached to that account and does not transfer freely between countries or accounts.

Google currently lists a maximum Google Play balance of €2,000 for Belgium. If the receiving account is already near that limit, the user may need to spend eligible balance before redeeming another code.

Understand Belgian Balance Conditions

Google Play balance is not cash, not a bank transfer and not a general Google Pay top-up. It is prepaid value for eligible Google Play purchases in the Belgian store.

The balance cannot be used for hardware, e-books, certain subscriptions or to top up GPay or another payment method. The gift card is not reloadable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other cards, except where required by law.

Google's Belgian gift card terms state that no card fees or expiry date apply. Before redeeming, the user should confirm that they are signed in to the correct Google account, because redeemed balance remains associated with that account.
